Top 10 Events this Weekend in the Concord Area

 You have found the place to Find Your Family Fun in the Concord area! It's a super busy weekend for family fun. With school back in full swing and Labor Day over, the Concord area is filled with fun events for families! It's one of those weekends where I want to do FAR MORE than I can get to!

Friday September 15

🍨 Loudon Lions Annual Ice Cream Social- Bring the family out to enjoy some free ice cream and socialize with other families. There will also be other activities. Sponsored by the Loudon Lions Club. 

Saturday September 16

🆓 FREE Clothing Giveaway- FREE clothing in good condition! (We will not accept any money or donations) Do you need clothes for this coming fall and winter? Come and see what we have. There will be many clothes of all different sizes for men, women, and children.

🎆 Hooksett Old Home Day- Come for lots of fun including a parade, live music, vendors, eating contests, and fireworks! Lots of fun for all! The event will take place Rain or Shine. Park at Cigna (2 College Park Dr, Hooksett). Shuttle available all day except during the parade.

🎨 Concord Arts Market- Concord Arts Market is back at Rollins Park for 2023! Sixty-five arts and crafts vendors will be spread across the park showing and selling their products! Entertainment, yoga, and food vendors are expected each month, too!

🚀 Aerospacefest 2023- Join us for our 28th annual AerospaceFest! September 16th, 2023 from 10:30am-4pm. Participate in hands-on science activities with Discovery Center educators, see models, enjoy the brand new Science Playground, groove along with DJ Nazzy, and participate in activities presented by local STEM organizations and companies outside AND inside the discovery center this year. Sing and dance along with Mr. Aaron’s Intergalactic Music Spectacular. See science in exciting action with Mad Science of Maine. Celebrate this year’s recipients of the Alex Higgins Memorial Space Camp Scholarship. Be one of the first people to see our new planetarium show, 3-2-1 Liftoff! Exhibits will also be open during the event this year!

đŸĻ Old Fashioned Family Fun Day- Grab your family and friends to party like Concord families did over a century ago! There will be lots of fun for all ages including old-fashioned games, free ice cream, historic buildings and vehicles, a penny candy shop, photo ops, and more!

🍂 2nd Annual Fall Festival- Come to Hopkinton's 2nd Annual Fall Festival presented by the Police Officers' Association of Hopkinton! It's the perfect way to kick off the fall season with fun! There will be a cornhole tournament, live music, food trucks, and fireworks! Cash prizes will be given for the cornhole tournament, but be sure to bring your own bags. The cost to register your team for the tournament is $50.


Sunday September 17

🛩ī¸ Wings and Wheels- Get ready to take flight with Wings & Wheels, at Concord's Municipal Airport! This free, family-friendly event will include interactive exhibits, antique vehicles and aircraft, and many other activities. Food will also be available for purchase.

đŸĢ‘ Hooksett Village Farmers Market- Hooksett now boasts the Concord area's newest local farmers market! On every 3rd Sunday from June through September, local vendors will be at the American Legion selling their locally grown or crafted goods. There will be eggs, tea, vegetables, herbs, handmade soaps, and more!

đŸĒ• Music on the Green: The Canterbury Singers- Come enjoy The Canterbury Singers out on the meeting house green. Everyone is welcome, so bring the family, a picnic, and a blanket or chairs to enjoy a relaxing afternoon together.
