EASTERN BALLET INSTITUTE’S “THE NUTCRACKER” RETURNS TO THE CCA ON DECEMBER 1 AND 2 The Eastern Ballet Institute’s production of “The Nutcracker” returns to the Capitol Center for the Arts (CCA) in Downtown Concord, NH on December 1 and 2. The show is sponsored in part by Melanson Heath. Follow young Clara and her Nutcracker on their journey through the snow as Tchaikovsky’s cherished score is played by the Southern New Hampshire Symphony and danced by Eastern Ballet Institute students and alumni. New this year is a special pre-matinee option for “Tea and Treats” – a magical opportunity to enjoy a selection of refreshments and take photos with Clara and her Nutcracker friends in the Capitol Center’s beautifully decorated Kimball House before the show begins. Tickets for the December 1 and 2 Nutcracker performances start at just $17, plus any applicable fees for phone/Internet sales. (Additional $25 fee for “Tea and Treats”). Tickets may be ordered by calling the Capitol Center for the Arts at (603) 225-1111 or online at ccanh.com. Tickets may also obtained at the Center’s box office at 44 South Main St., Concord, NH, which is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11AM to 6PM and Saturdays from 11 AM to 2PM.

Founded in 2008, this eighty-piece ensemble celebrates its 10-year anniversary in 2018. A portion of the proceeds from the Nutcracker performances will support a scholarship for Southern NH University first year student violinist Sarah Cronin. About the Capitol Center for the Arts The award-winning Capitol Center for the Arts (ccanh.com) inspires, educates, and entertains audiences by providing a quality venue for the performing arts as well as a wide range of professional-level, artistically-significant presentations.
