I have not come close at all to hiking all 80 miles, but have compiled a big list of local favorites! Many of my personal favorite local trails are listed here along with some on my wish list that have been recommended by other families.

Merrimack River Outdoor Education and Conservation Area- Easy Hiking on 103 Acres along Merrimack River
Northern Rail Trail- 58 Mile Rail Trail from Boscawen to Lebanon
Oak Hill- Several Options of Trails, Views, and Fire Tower
Sewell Falls Park Trails- Stroller-Friendly and Beaches along the Trail
Silk Farm Sanctury at the NH Audubon Society- Great for kids, even strollers
Winant Park- Informative Signs throughout the Trail with Varying Difficulty

The Basin- One of our many favorite spots along 93 with beautiful falls and several adjacent trails!
Georgiana Falls- Enjoy a .8 mile hike up a waterfall that just keeps getting better as you go! We got a geocache there on our honeymoon!
Quechee Gorge- Breathtaking view of the gorge at the beginning, then hike down in. My choice for a birthday hike with friends and family!
