Enjoying Hood Eggnog is a holiday tradition in our house. A couple of my friends have a household rule. They won't start playing Christmas music until eggnog hits the stores. Not me. I am one of those annoying people that plays Christmas music throughout the year. I even asked my mom to have a Christmas tree up for my birthday... in July. Although, we really know the holidays are approaching when we spot Hood Eggnog in the store.
At our house, Hood Eggnog is a necessity during the holidays. Last year, we happened to have multiple brands of eggnog at one of our holiday get-togethers. That was the only time we really put Hood Eggnog to the test and it won hands down. The rich, creamy, and delicious flavor of Hood Eggnog makes it the only option for our family. We were super excited to partner with Hood to spread the word about something we love so much!
We are Hood Eggnog purists. The creamy milk, spices, and sugared yolks make it a holiday favorite for families everywhere. With it being so delicious by itself, I am careful to incorporate it into foods that will capitalize on the rich flavor. So today my big boy and I put together a No-Bake Hood Eggnog Pie.
Creating our No-Bake Hood Eggnog Pie was an easy, fun, and really delicious activity to do together while his little brother napped. Here is the recipe so you can enjoy Hood Eggnog in a new way this holiday season:
No-Bake Hood Eggnog Pie
INGREDIENTS:
1 and 1/2 Cups of Hood Eggnog
1 Regular Size (about 3.4 oz.) Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix
2 Cups of Whipped Topping
A Dash of Nutmeg
1 Graham Cracker Crust
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Put Hood Eggnog and Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix into a mixing bowl. Mix until well blended.
2. Add nutmeg, then fold in whipped topping. Be careful not to really stir or it will flatten.
3. Spoon mixture into the graham cracker crust.
4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
My 4 year old stayed on task the whole time because it was so quick and easy to make. The Hood Eggnog makes it so delicious that we will definitely make it more often as we celebrate this holiday season!
