My favorite holiday is almost here, so I wanted to take the time to wish you a wonderful Christmas! I know I don't often take the time to connect with you more personally here. I fill up the events calendar, create local guides and other resources, and share fun things on Facebook, but want you to know you are my reason. 💙
This holiday season, know that your family is a valued part of our community. Yes, it has been a weird couple of years navigating what is right for our families and how that fits into the community around us. Although, you are loved. Whether you have showed kindness to neighbors, supported local businesses that are struggling, attended local events, or connected with other local families, you have are part of what makes New Hampshire great!
This week, I've tried to add things to the calendar, but many businesses are aware it is often a time to spend with family finishing up Christmas preparations and festivities. So check the calendar for fun events and find Christmas activities, but be sure to slow down and enjoy your family this week. This is the only year they will be this age.
OK, total transparency here: I may not be the best example of slowing down. I like to do all the things especially when it comes to things I value. So this week, I can be found finally getting to Bass Pro Shop for photos with Santa, traveling, singing in the choir at my church's Christmas Eve Service (consider yourself invited especially to the 5:00 service 😉), enjoying Christmas with family and friends multiple times, and hosting sort-of-family that I haven't seen in years. So anyway, let's enjoy this ride together as we navigate raising families in the 603 looking on into the coming year.
