Enjoy a small-town holiday experience in Historic Downtown Hooksett Village! For the 1st time ever. ALL the village buildings surrounding the historic center around Robie’s Country Store will light up at the same time as the town tree is lit!
Light Up The Village is an event in conjunction with Robie’s Country Store and The Main Street Man. There will be an old-time family Christmas inside the country store with the famous checkerboard, hot cocoa, cookies, popcorn and a special reading of “A Christmas Story” by one of the Robie family members for the little ones!
Head on over to the American Legion Hall for the 1st Hooksett Festival of Trees to benefit the Hooksett Heritage Commission! Tour all the decorated trees and put your ticket(s) in the one you would like to win! You could win a FULLY DECORATED CHRISTMAS TREE and help improve Hooksett’s historic village area! All proceeds will go towards improving and beautifying our historic village area!
Craft vendors will be setup inside for holiday shopping, as well as free baked goods and more hot cocoa!
Last but not least…The Lighting Contest! Throughout the night walk the village and admire the beautiful light displays including the Lilac Bridge! Cast your vote for your favorite and wait to hear who the winner is at the closing ceremony at 8:30pm.
